Dr. Kwadwo A. Owusu-Ansah graduated from the School of Medical Sciences at KNUST with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) degree. He subsequently completed postgraduate training in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Dr. Owusu-Ansah is currently a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons.
He completed further training in India in Assisted Reproductive Techniques and Minimal Access Surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy). Since then, he has successfully helped numerous women achieve their dream of motherhood through various assisted conception techniques, many of them in the advanced maternal age range of 40 to 50 years.
His general obstetric and gynaecological clinic caters to a wide range of adult and pediatric gynaecological issues, including common problems such as heavy or abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids (with a focus on fertility and uterine preservation), and antenatal care for high-risk pregnancies. The clinic also offers prenatal genetic testing, such as amniocentesis, obstetric ultrasound scans, contraception counseling and method provision, as well as management of hormonal imbalance issues, including PCOS and menopause. Additionally, it provides care for women with pelvic organ prolapse and urinary problems.
